Nysera is a complex and diverse landscape, and it’s people are representative of this. In the southern continent are the remnants of ancient clans who once worshipped creatures of immense power. In the Northern continent an advanced civilization slowly recovers from the devastation of The Severance. Beyond these two places are even more unique cultures, whose isolation from the heartland of the Gashyn has allowed them to develop an entirely different presence in the world.
Here is just a handful of the characters you’ll come across in Lords of Nysera. Each has their own goals and motives in the world, each their own story to unravel as you progress through the many chapters Lords of Nysera has to offer!

Sholeh
Keeper of Iyrvan
A rising prodigy of magic blessed with the holy blood of Heljia. His exceptional abilities as an arbiter has earned him the title of “Keeper” among the Iyrvani. His first test, as ordered by the high council, is to help settle the Evallonian Civil war.
“Keepers don’t quash rebellions, they end pointless wars.”
Perrine
Lord of Ahnustran
Lord of Ahnustran, and leader of the eastern armies of Evallon. Her expertise in battle and her charismatic presence has quickly propelled her to the forefront of Evallonian politics, leading some to believe she will soon replace the aging regent.

Isidara
Child of Kaitos
A powerful Ahnvala searching for answers amidst a world whose gods have gone silent. In pursuit of her quest she has broken the exile of her people and left the isle of Valkyrnis. As a bearer of the blood of Kaitos, her potential as a spellcaster is near limitless.

Delver of The Deep
A famous traveler and husband to Osheve. After serving countless years as a mercenary in the Free Provinces he seeks only to explore the ruins of Nysera for the Shar of Archeology in Khuldar.

Osheve
Scion of Meya
A traveling minstrel and bearer of the blood of Mienve, who’s infamous for abdicating her title in the most powerful family of the East Dominion. Why she left and where she aims to go is a secret privy only to those she trusts with her life.

Mage of Helkrinos
A wandering mage from the windswept isles of Helkrinos. Once training to become an Archmage, she has put aside her studies to explore the world. Since then, she has become an advisor to House Galvos, and was inevitably drawn into the conflict as a war mage.

Aniya
Expert Artificer
Student to the Grand Artif of Iyrvan, and known to carry the blood of Heljia. Her tenacious instinct for battle and skill with magical artifacts has saved her older brother Sholeh on multiple occasions.
“Try not to move, artifacts tend to explode when you poke them like this.”

Warrior of Galvos
A romantic and foolhardy noble born from the line of Azmuth. His famous disregard for orders is matched only by his unsuccessful flirtations with other nobles.
“Twas the least important of the keeps, entirely trial in fact, a complete waste of my incredible skills.”
Rhyanne
Ace Ruhk Flyer
First wing leader of Austrano’s Ruhk divison, and a lifelong friend of Perrine’s. Despite her boisterous and talkative nature, makes little conversation concerning the origin of her birth.

Regent of Evallon
Once the esteemed commander of the Evallonian military, he now struggles to keep the 2nd Unification from crumbling after the sudden severing of Vaim’s holy bloodline.

Limna
Mercantile Extraordinaire
A timid merchant from Khuldar serving as Perrine’s convoy manager. While entirely incapable of combat, her exceptional skills in all things economic has made her necessary to the war effort.

Theris
Lord of Galvos
The notoriously severe and underhanded Lord of Galvos, and head of the ancient Blackstar clan. As bearer of the blood and mark of Azmuth, his powerful resonance with the earth element has made him an incredibly powerful ally against the Saarcian rebellion.
“Fortunately for you, child, we’re on the same side, otherwise I would end you.”
Atranzhi
The Last Kaishol
The solemn and elusive Lord of Thulmar, the smallest province of Evallon. As the sole-surviving Ahnvala of the Kaishol divergence she is perhaps the greatest fire mage in existence.
“Evallon is no stranger to war, it is a flame that shall ever scour these lands.”
Ishava
Rebel of Saarce
The supposed instigator of the Evallonian civil war, and leader of the Fireheart clan of Saarce. While not a bearer of any bloodline, her skill in battle and leadership made her a instant firebrand among the Saarcian populace.
“The people of The Ridge will never again bow to the oppression of Evallon!”
Nachion
Symbol of Strength
A member of the Nine, a religious order in the southern region of Evallon that has joined Saarce in the rebellion against Alric’s reign as regent. Though once a warrior of great strength, his willingness to shed blood has long since waned.
“The Nine will not stand for a pretender to Evallia’s rule, even if it means war.”
